About Fox Family Farm
welcome to our farm. We’re so glad you are here.
We are a homesteading, homeschooling family of five who never imagined ourselves as farmers, but we continued to feel God’s pull to do something different — to step outside of our comfort zones. In 2016, we broke ground and began building a home on “more land.” At the time, we had no idea what that land would be used for or what God’s full plan was, but we felt strongly that the Lord wanted us here.
We finished our home and moved to our little farm at the end of 2018 with just one dog and a cockatiel. We were nowhere near a “farm,” but we were on our land and excited to see what God had in store.
About a year later, we discovered our youngest daughter had an allergy to cow’s milk and couldn’t have conventional dairy products. I didn’t love the options available in stores, so I began researching — and that’s when we found goats! Bringing dairy goats to our land allowed us to provide her with fresh, healthy milk straight from our own pasture.
And so it began — with two goats.
Then came twelve chickens and a package of bees.
Now, years later, our farm has grown to include 3 dogs, 6 goats, more chickens than I can count, 5 ducks, 4 barn cats, 2 mini pigs, and a few bee colonies — with more to come!
To us, homesteading is about far more than animals or growing food. It’s about family — working together, learning together, and building character in our children. It’s about community — sharing what we have, teaching what we learn, and opening our gates to others who want to experience life on the farm.
It is our prayer to use this land, these animals, and the knowledge we gain to bless others — to create a space where people can connect, learn, and experience the beauty of God’s creation in simple, meaningful ways.
Here, we hope to share glimpses of our daily life — from homeschool lessons and muddy boots to chaotic animal adventures and quiet moments of gratitude.
